Right this moment, there are ultraconservatives warping current events to justify making threats against #trans folk. Let’s be clear: it’s thinly veiled fascism and transphobia. No one declares open season on cis white males when they perpetrate violence. And yet that happens way more often. Funny, that.
But I digress.
As a good friend has reminded me: have a Buddy system in place, especially now. Don’t go alone. It’s saddening, but it’s not safe in public for #queerfolk in the US.
