I just went to see Plainclothes with Russell Tovey and wow what a great movie. Highly recommend if you like queer dramas or indie films in general. Russell Tovey is great in it as well

For the first night of Pride Month… I don't know if I will do 30 nights of queer films but more than one for sure. LOL
I'm not sure I've seen Maurice since the 80s… It was either the first or second gay film that I saw. I have some clear memories of it but mainly it seemed depressing to me as a young teen. Now knowing the history of the time it depicts as well as the accomplishment of getting it made I hope I have a slightly better appreciation.

Not that it's super challenging to make me cry these days, Mama's Boy brought on a full range of sad tears and happy tears and some feelings of hope. A documentary based on Dustin Lance Black's memoir which I will now add to my list to read some day. I didn't know his Mama but she felt like family by the end 🥹❤️🩹

Watched Bros last night with Michael and we both really enjoyed it! The awkward scenes and moments were really well written (I had to cover my face a couple of times lol.) The romance was super sweet and the writing overall was funny and clever.
