  1. Late good morning, little creatures. 🌸

Yesterday evening was wonderfully mellow: a very close friend, their lovely cats, good conversation, and the sort of evening where you look at the clock and go, oh.

Then you look again and go, OH.

So yes. It got late. 🐈‍⬛💜

Unfortunately, the day is approaching when I have to go back to Berlin.

And I really, really don't want to.

Because here in the Netherlands, I've spent days being openly and visibly queer. Every day. Just existing. Wearing what I want, going where I want, being my little queer self in public.

And do you know what happened?

    Nothing.

Nobody shouted at me. Nobody decided my existence was a public emergency. Nobody made even the tiniest stupid comment.

    It's been wonderfully, gloriously boring.

And then I think about going back to Berlin.

Last time I arrived, I had been there for approximately five minutes when I was shouted at and called a pedophile.

    Twice.

    Within five minutes.

    What the actual fuck.

I am so tired of this.

I shouldn't have to brace myself before getting off a train because some stranger might decide that my existence makes me a convenient target.

And yes, I know Berlin is full of wonderful people. I know there are queer communities, allies, friends, chosen family, beautiful little pockets of safety and joy.

But the atmosphere has changed. The mob is getting louder, uglier, and increasingly comfortable treating us as something that may be shouted at, threatened, humiliated, or simply hated in public.

And after spending this time here, where I could just... exist?

I don't want to go back.

    Not because I hate Berlin.

Because I am tired of being afraid of what Berlin might throw at me.

So I'm going to enjoy my remaining time here.

More cats. More canals. More queer joy. More being gloriously, inconveniently myself.

And I will cross the border when I absolutely have to.

    But right now?

    No.

I do not want to go home.

I want to stay somewhere where being queer is allowed to be boring.

That shouldn't be too much to ask. 🏳️‍🌈💜

  15. Today marks one year on HRT, and what a wild ride it’s been! 🏳️‍⚧️

From walking into my PCP’s office expecting to be placed on a long waiting list, to navigating moments of frustration and uncertainty, it’s incredible to think about how far I’ve come. I started this journey thinking it would take months just to get started, but fate had other plans. A last-minute consultation, my therapist’s support, and a gender dysphoria diagnosis all aligned, allowing me to take my first steps toward becoming my true self.

Starting HRT wasn’t without its challenges. Every dosage change brought migraines, and my emotions were all over the place, but it also opened up a part of myself I’d kept hidden. Crying over the smallest things has become more common, but it’s a reminder that I’m feeling everything more deeply, more honestly. My therapist has been my guide, but at the end of the day, I’ve had to walk this path myself—breaking free from gender norms and expectations one step at a time.

Sharing my journey with friends and family has been mostly welcomed, though not without its bumps. Still, those who truly matter have shown me such love and support, and that’s what I hold onto. 🥰

Dysphoria is tough—it’s brutal, really. But HRT has helped me manage it. I’ve had to mourn the female childhood I never got to live, but I’m learning to embrace my inner girl and listen to her needs. This is just the beginning. My body and mind are evolving, and there’s still so much ahead.

Here’s to many more years of becoming who I’ve always been inside, and finally seeing the real me in the mirror. The core of me hasn’t changed—just freed from layers that never belonged. ✨

  32. With everything that is going on lately, we had to make Pride month special and lookout for one another, trans people ARE and ALWAYS would be included!

Y'all are beautiful and sweet. Honestly, you guys helped to uplifted me, teached me as well as being one of the sweetest human beings I know which I wish there's more of you. That's why it gets to me the news and constantly having to fight for to basically keep basic human rights..

If you wanna party at Pride, go for it but remember, Pride is about giving zero fucks about being under the LGBTQ+ identity and would not make anyone not just put you down but others as well. Don't let those cunts win and take over your life, I'm fed up of having to pretend I'm alright with everything is going on..

PS. Fuck you Ron DeSantis and kiss my queer ass!
    💋
