for #MeerMittwoch the tug Ocean Titan under tow with a barge of containers headed from Seattle to Alaska, passing Cape Mudge on Quadra Island. Discovery Passage, off Campbell River at 50 lat N is a major transportation route. These waters are treacherous with tidal currents that can run 16 knots (30Km/hr).
