#QSMP: In the last few days, we have seen an outpouring of hate towards several former Quackity Studios workers. Although the majority of messages have been supportive, some people have received thousands of death threats, offensive and explicit messages targeting them and their relatives.
In France, cyber-harassment is an offence punishable by a 3-year jail sentence and up to a €45,000 fine. The law is also applicable when the cyberharassers are foreign-based

Malgré les messages de soutien massifs et majoritaires, certaines personnes ont reçu des menaces et des propos dégradants les visant elles et leur entourage.Le cyberharcèlement est passible en France de 3 ans d’emprisonnement et de 45000 € d’amende. La loi s’applique également lorsque les perpétrateurs sont basés à l’étranger.

Last week, we invited Quackity and other Quackity Studios executives to engage in negotiations with their workers.
As far as we know, no contact has been attempted. In fact, most of them saw all their communication media cut off without prior notice nor any further explanation.
If Quackity is unable to address the problems internally, we will sue the company to defend the workers.
