My latest interesting, old QSL card from places I’ve visited or lived in the past is from R.E. Linthicum (3KM) at 2013 Benning Rd. in Washington D.C., to Mr. William E. Lineback Jr. (4CK), at 843 Piedmont Ave in Winston-Salem, N.C. ~ postmarked Apr 29, 1921 out of Washington DC. Any further verifiable info that I find on these operators / equipment listed will be posted in the comments below. #QSLcard #KE0FFTqslcard #KE0FFTqsl #QSLcards #KE0FFThingsInMyShack

Let’s try this again. No ChatGPT.
I collect old QSL cards from places that I’ve lived & worked in the past (& some that are just interesting for other reasons). I found this card online for a reasonable price & thought that it’s one worth sharing.
The card is postmarked 1937, Ayer, Mass. Fort Devens, where I was stationed in the Air Force for Morse code school back in 1992.
Verified info I find may follow.

#QSL card I found online recently for a reasonable price. I honestly had never heard of Novosibirsk before, (although I may have forgotten having read the city’s name in an old Tom Clancy novel 30 years ago). Turns out it’s a very large city with an interesting history. This #QSLcard from the Siberian town in the former USSR is for a QSO that happened on Feb 24th, 1984. #QSLcards #ke0fftQSLcard #KE0FFT

I collect old #QSLcards from places that I have lived and / or worked. I lived and worked at the #PresidioOfMonterey at various times between 1995 and 2007, which is why I bought this QSL card from the POM in 1936 for my collection when I saw it advertised on eBay last week.
What I didn’t know when I purchased the card, was what a storied set of hams were involved in its background.

I collect inexpensive #QSLcards from places I’ve actually lived or visited. I was in Rio de Janeiro back in the early 2000’s for Carnival. This is the latest addition to the #QSLcard collection, and I think it’s going to wind up being one of my favorites. I really like the design. This one was sent for a QSO on December 13th, 1958 - just over 66 years ago. #KE0FFT #KE0FFTqslcard

I liked the current “Illinois” #QSLcards so much that I decided to have a whole other set of “Colorado” QSL cards made, so that I can send cards out (better late than never) to all of those contacts that I made from Colorado between 2015-2019. This is the front. My wife took that collared lizard picture on Serpents Trail in Grand Junction, Colorado with her cell phone. #QSLcard #KE0FFT #KE0FFTqslcard #KE0FFTqsos

Got the #qslcard today for my first QSO outside of North America - to New South Wales, Australia - back on May 25th (May 26th UTC). A fun one to add to the collection. #KE0FFT #KE0FFTqslcard #KE0FFT10m #QSLcards

Finally came up with a unique “Olney related” #QSLcard that I like - even though it is only on eQSL.com. I need to figure out what site I want to use to get some real #QSLcards made - ASAP. My printer is such a royal PITA these days that I don't even want to spend any time trying to figure out how to do it here. Credit for the pic goes to Jan Trabue. #KE0FFT #KE0FFTqslcard #KE0FFTqsos

Added this vintage QSL card to my collection this week - postmarked Aug 4th, 1932 from W9DYW, who lived here in our current home QTH of Olney, Illinois, and addressed to W3WN, who lived in Maryland. I’m currently collecting a couple of older cards from the places that I’ve visited or where I’ve lived before. #QSLcard #QSLcards #KE0FFT #KE0FFTqslcard

Two #QSLcards for each portion of last night’s “Texas Radio #Shortwave” program - SINPO: 45434 - broadcast at 0100UTC on 5950kHz - WRMI 100kW / 355° out of Okeechobee, FL with a good signal into Olney, IL. 1st hour was music from Texas musicians and the 2nd hour featured two episodes of “Frontier Town,” which originally aired back in 1949 & 1950. #swl #KE0FFTqslcard
