Well, my usual* wallet does have enough cash, fortunately. 😁

It's just weird because I normally use my #creditcard for any place that will take card payments, and I don't carry much #cash. I don't feel safe making trips to the #ATM. The less I use those machines, the better and safer, me thinks. So I like to save my cash for places where they don't have other payment options.

#Google / #Apple Pay is not a thing here. We have #GrabPay #Maya #Gcash #ShopeePay.

Yeah. I tried it one time at a small coffee shop. The #QR sign at the cashier had the #QRph logo in the center of the #QRcode, but the sign was branded #Gcash.

🤷‍♂️ "No, not really. Maybe it'll work as a transfer*."

I tried and it was indeed treated as a transfer, with a 15-peso fee. I cancelled the transaction.

And that is why it's still good to keep some cash handy. ☝️😄

I actually don't understand how the #QRph thing works. Never tried it.

It's weird -- folks approaching random strangers. Gotta be careful. ☝️

I think if I need help I'd try an office or store, not random strangers or passersby. 🤔 Something worth planning for. Things do* happen. 🤷‍♀️ I'd say I'll be back on this or that day and pay them back, and I'll leave my phone number. That'll work, now that we got #SIMcardRegistration. Maybe an ID too, if necessary.
