Tried to configure proper #2FA on my company's service provider site, as it's set to SMS as default. Found just one button to "configure authenticator app". It displays #QRcode without any code to manually copy.
Not good, my preferred interface for #YubicoAuthenticator is cli, because I want to properly set touch and touch in it currently works weirdly in phone app.

So my nerdy ass scanned that code using generic barcode scanner on phone, copied revealed URL containing secret, pasted it to Markor file which was later copied via #Syncthing to my work laptop :blobCat_giggle:

I just cannot use things as intended...

Hello Fediverse! I'm looking for some advice how to approach the following #AR #QRcode problem:

I want to augment a physical medium (journal) with links. I'd like to be able to open the links with a mobile device.

The links are like these, probably longer:

I have thought about a few options, I am wondering if anyone has made a similar thing and tools they recommend:

- use a QR code generator (this will result in very 'big' QR codes due to the long url)
- use an url shortener like tinyurl and its QR code generator for these shorter urls (this will result in a shorter link, like these https://tinyurl.com/p425dwuz
- set up some AR app where the codes can be even smaller, but which requires more setup, both on my side and the potential reader (similar to a whiteboard techno installation I saw being posted here)

Boosts are welcome, hashtag suggestions too.
