Sama Layuca #PostBop #piano #jazz just remastered and sent out into the world today. Amazing stuff happens in the percussion especially vibes and piano. Very kinetic recording but in a quiet way. Lots happening. These cats are blazing a trail into the future.

Saturday’s #music is in the folk jazz vein by an ensemble calling itself House of Waters, part of Michael League’s GroundUp Records mob. This band plays #jazz in a traditional music vein that has old world folk and eastern elements. Moto Fukushima plays bass but #HammeredDulcimers, #HandDrums, #Flutes and other #TraditionalInstruments are the ensemble’s spice
