@robs Max Chandler-Mather was elected on Liberal preferences. The Liberal vote sank and so did his chances. It’s a loss for the community in Griffith. He’s been a very active member. I can’t see the new Labor member giving up a portion of their salary to fund school breakfasts and community events.

@graemeinnes I honestly don’t understand why the majority of the electorate don’t get postal votes. On Saturday I was at a booth and over 50% of the voters coming into the booth did not take anyone’s #HTV how to vote card & the informal vote was quite low , so they had decided well before arriving. #QueenslandVotes #QldVotes

David Crisafulli has poor foresight and is untrustworthy —not desirable qualities for a Premier.
David Crisafulli made that promise as a stunt, and now he's worried people will hold him to his word, so he's adding qualifiers/conditions. Curiously, his metrics are now based on victims reporting crimes, and not on the number of criminals, which shifts the onus onto victims and perversely makes his promise stronger if Queensland police have dubious integrity. -
