Update: I'm not sure what happened, but Messages just tossed a bunch of my recent SMS messages. People were telling me they were texting me, and I wasn't getting anything. I went back to QUIK, and I can see that I received a bunch of messages, but they're all blank. YEOUCH. Bad. D:

@kat Indeed. Also: most SMS I get are from companies (e.g. the post office) and I was happy to see these in #Signal rather than in Google's #SMS app, which keeps harassing me so that I send them more personal data (every single time it's launched).

This is just an #sms #app but with nice #ui, smooth animations and some functionality like pin/unread/archive sms !!! That's soooo nice!

I think it's the right choice.

For anyone looking for an #SMS app because of #Signal's upcoming change, definitely give #QKSMS a look. It's on #FDroid, and it's pretty legit.

No support for sending videos, though. Not like you'll really miss those potatotastic 3GPP slideshows. :P
