    TIL: Eine #SPARQL Abfrage in #Wikidata nach aufsteigender #QID zu sortieren ist etwas mehr, als in wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:SPA beschrieben. Statt bloß "ORDER BY ?horse" muss man schon zu "ORDER BY (xsd:long(STRAFTER(STR(?horse),"Q")))" greifen. 🤓

    I'd say it's a range of preferences that we need. If person knows WHAT he/she/xe wants to consume, it is fine and even commended, because this banishes a scroll fatigue and helps their mood. It doesn't have to be everyday for them to check up on more common timeline.

    I dread for a column on #Mastodon which I can configure to filter by more than 4 tags. :mastodon_oops: #QID extension for consolidated #hashtags would also produce more diverse results.

    I started a draft on how to use Wikidata QIDs with Mastodon Hashtags, after @nichtich started a discussion. Quite a few open questions, but I hope folks will refine, discuss, improve, rewrite, and extend it.

    I have no idea how proposal are made to Mastodon, and I am sure they are all busy right now with scaling and moderating, but having a solid proposal to point to never hurts for such an endeavour.
