Teide National Park (#POTA ES-2324, ES-0210, #WWFF EAFF-0075) poses some unusual challenges due to the volcanic ground and the lack of trees or man-made structures. You have to be prepared to put up the antenna all self-supporting. Replaced Q1-3 & Q6, realigned, readjusted and retweaked L1,L2 and L3 with a little over 5 watts output for this easy to repair #QRP #AmateurRadio #HamRadio CW #MorseCode #QRPRadio Not bbad RBN reception during less than ideal conditions on a Saturday night.

Cruz de Gala (#SOTA EA8/TF-007, #POTA ES-2313, #WWFF EAFF-0567) is an easy hike up. The summit itself has a couple of large radio towers which are currently under construction. A quick after work activation of #POTA DE-0805 Stadtpark Chemnitz (also DE-0933 Sächsischer Jakobsweg) resulted in 11 QSOs in about 50 minutes. Propagation was okay, but I had to hang the antenna very low. This was the only spot in the proximity where I didn’t exceed the 100 feet rule for the trail (with it being entirely within the forest).
