A couple of years ago, the small All-Clad pan I fry eggs in cut me as I was pulling it out of the dishwasher. A clean slice on my index finger off the rim. I patched it up. Didn’t think much else of it.

Anyone know how best to clean a Pyrex Oven dish ?
I have a flat - with a slight outer lip - Pyrex glass oven dish which needs a deep clean.
Water + washing up liquid isn't shifting anything, even after a multiple hour soak.
I know that vinegar + baking soda is good for most things but I also know it's abrasive.
So, how do I do a deep *non destructive* clean on it?
Thanks in advance.

I came across a bread recipe online the other day that recommends #baking the loaves in glass #Pyrex bowls. I have tried my hand at baking bread a few times before but never in glass bowls, and I didn't own any oven-safe ones.
Yesterday, I went to my local thrift store, and sure enough I found not one but two liter-size Pyrex bowls for 99 Cents each. Exactly what the recipe called for. This is a sign from the universe telling me to attempt this peasant bread.
Fun fact, I just watched a YouTube video about how #thrifting got ruined by resellers, and apparently Pyrex is one of the things they go for. Who knew!

In their testing, they were able to etch 258 layers of data totaling roughly 2.02 TB onto a 2 mm thick #borosilicate glass plate while achieving write speeds of between 18.4 and 65.9 Mbps depending on the number of laser beams used. That top speed is significantly faster than the 25.6 Mbps achieved using fused silica glass, but with less than half the density, at 2.02 TB vs 4.84 TB per platter.

TIL that PYREX and pyrex are different. Products with the uppercase logo are apparently made in Europe using the original borosilicate formula, while lowercase logo applies to USA made products made using cheaper soda lime glass.

This is how I know I'm getting old. I had a $10 Target gift card and I had some money from doing a favor for someone. Did I buy something fun and exciting? No. I bought a 4 cup pyrex container and a 7 cup pyrex container. I got them because I make a lot of stock and broth and usually all our current containers are in use. These are all mine. Mostly for my own personal use.

Wrapping up at Pilchuck and bouncing around Tacoma, Seattle for a day or two. Here is that 22mm borosilicate star I made. Brian Gillespie the Rhino torch maker got it at the auction party for scholarships an stuff.
I also made that eclipse and a purple an pink hand pulled phosphor coated color test.
The thick borosilicate is interesting... Makes me wanna get some of those oxygenated torches.
