  1. I'm happy to finally share the recording of my PyOhio talk "Snakes and Ladders: A Gentle Introduction to Generators and Iterators."

It was my first session talk and the PyOhio organizers and volunteers were supportive and helpful throughout the proposal and preparation. Thanks again to everyone who helped make 2024 a great comeback for the conference!
Be sure to check out the other great talks on the PyOhio channel as well!

  2. I'm not typically one to do a hard sell, but organizers (VOLUNTEER organizers, mind you) did an AMAZING job organizing the first in-person con (which is FREE to attend) after lockdown, and they only need to sell a few more hoodies to get the minimum batch and raise some money for PyOhio2025. Please be an awesome person, support these lovely people, and buy a hoodie to get them to over 15 sales so they can run the batch!

  3. It was a bit too busy (and fun) today at to keep up with posting, but:
    - I gave my first session talk
    - Nothing caught on fire and no one was injured
    - I met several more lovely people
    - I learned several interesting new things.

I'm going to go ahead and put the day in the "win" column.

  4. Great start to #pyohio2024
Looking forward to the final day tomorrow

  5. Good morning to you and all my #PyOhio #PyOhio2024 FOMO. It’s already looking like a blast!

  6. Hullo Cleveland! It's been a while.

  7. I'm happy to share that a talk I proposed for @pyohio has been accepted! This will be my first full-length conference talk, so I'm excited and nervous! We'll be having some fun while discussing Iterators and Generators in Python.

There are a lot of other excellent sounding talks scheduled, and attendance is free, so I hope to see many of you there! I attended in 2018 and 2019 and it was great! You can register here: pyohio.org/
