  1. #PuzzleScript static analysis fun - splitting up rule-groups based on flow analysis (looking at two rules in a rule group, we ask if rule A can possibly add anything that might cause rule B to trigger, then partition the rule-groups based on that graph). Seems like it might be quite the speedup!

  2. I've uploaded a test version of #PuzzleScript with fancier autocomplete www.puzzlescript.net/beta/editor.... here (relevant documentation www.puzzlescript.net/beta/Documen... ). If no bugs found, will push live properly on monday.

  3. To avoid breaking #OeufGame (releases on Tuesday!) I'm working on #PuzzleScript instead - adding some more directional autocomplete features rn (sprite autocomplete was already there, but the other ones will be new)

  10. Vines, a plant-growing puzzle game by stfan in #PuzzleScript , is cool! 🪴

Seems to be an old #LudumDare game but I couldn't find anything on the contemporary web about the author 👻

  15. I think I found a #bug in #PuzzleScript Plus. If the "tween_length' flag is set, so player movement between cells is interpolated and not discrete, and 'background_color' is set to transparent, the player sprite starts to leave these kind of smears. it looks like previous player positions are not cleared from the screen?

  25. This is an experiment/interpretation/joke that I once shared in the #puzzlescript mailing list, but I just realized I never published it; perhaps because it's a bit janky... but perhaps some people will enjoy it:
