every child deserves the right to be safe from harm, oppression and violence that are forms of toxic stress and can have reverberations for generations.

As a pediatrician, I care for ALL children.

We often ask "What if it were your child?" during times when children are hurt, killed or terrorized

Last night, as has happened EVERY year, children, families & worshippers at #AlAqsa mosque were attacked during prayers in th most holy month of #Ramadan for #Muslims & a #medical #clinic was destroyed-now unable to provide #healthcare

Press coverage is nearly nonexistent, outcry is minimal.

Why?
