I lifted a bark and then found the smallest #millipede we have in Central Europe:

Polyxenus lagurus (Polyxenida: Polyxenidae)

Size is only 2-3 mm 📏
It seems to use bark beetle tunnels 🤔

I am a "Puschtra" but this valley is in South Tyrol, so I wonder if Bavaria has a Pustertal too (I did not know this).

As promised, some short (1:23min) phone video impressions from Sunday's varied hike in the beautiful Ester Mountains[1] (mainly filmed during descent only, since the steep way up was mostly without any grand views)
