I'm doing The Push-Up Challenge to raise awareness and funds for mental health. Today they are doing a "Dollar match day" so every dollar you donate is matched!

And for those doing push ups - today's target is 167, for the 16.7% of Australians (one in six) who have experienced suicidal thoughts or behaviours in their life. TBH, I suspect it's higher (though I'm not going to tell them that, 167 is already enough for today!)

I'm doing The Push-Up Challenge this month and I've just nailed day 1! 120 out of 3,214 push-ups done for the month. The number is deliberate - it is the number of lives lost to suicide in Australia in 2023 (and no doubt it has only got worse since). The challenge aims to raise money for mental health services across Australia. Donated funds go to Lifeline, headspace or The Push for Better Foundation.

Tag sechs meiner #pushupchallenge. Die zehn #Liegestütze gehen schon echt gut. Morgen wird auf zwanzig erhöht. Das wird zwar sehr streng, aber machbar. :)
Insgesamt habe ich nun sechzig Liegestütze seit Start meiner #Challenge gemacht.

Tag fünf meiner #pushupchallenge. Gestern war ich einfach zu fertig, um #Liegestütze zu machen. Deshalb werden die ausgefallenen heute nachgeholt. Die ersten zehn habe ich bereits gemacht, die anderen zehn werden am Abend gemacht. Damit habe ich aktuell seit Start der #Challenge insgesamt 40 Liegestütze gemacht.
