I’m having trouble getting over #pursuitofjade. The first time this happened was when I finished #LBFAD.

Even though it aired a bit ago, I keep thinking how much I liked #pursuitOfJade the Cdrama. It felt, honest to me.
It showed a woman warrior, but gave her a backstory and a profession that made it realistic why she could become one. She was a butcher, and fighting is using knives to cut people like meat.
I also find it refreshing for people to talk plainly about things such as the fact that meat consumption is killing animals, and that we should be considerate to them in their last moments.

Finishing Pursuit Of Jade left me bereft - what do you mean there isn’t any more?! I’m definitely going to have to rewatch, but needed a palate cleanser first.
We tried the first ep of Legend of the Female General, hoping it would capture some of the same energy, but it didn’t grab us. Then we tried the first ep of Dream Within a Dream and it had us in stitches the entire episode. I think we have a winner ☺️

This drama was phenomenal. Not perfect, but outstanding despite its flaws.
