A follow up on that post from yesterday.
The young lady I spoke to was Cassidy Megan, founder of an #epilepsy awareness org.
Like far too many conditions, epilepsy is beset with misunderstandings and stereotypes that are harmful for both people with the condition and society generally.
It’s a condition that can often be treated, but those wrong ideas of epilepsy and the stigma keep people from treatment and just living life.
March 26 is #PurpleDay. Show support. :)

Thanks for the support for my #purpleday #epilepsyawarenessday release support. £100 raised for epilepsy.org.uk. Not too shabby as I was a bit late getting my act together. Next year shall be organised & get some other artists involved for a compilation. Also what came home to me was how little awareness was out there in social media & the press about this #purpleday & #epilepsy in general.
