The #Niners lost 10-35 to the #Bills tonight & IMO they are TOAST!! 🫣
With this loss they fall to 5-7 with 5 games left to play, 2 games behind the #Seahawks at 7-5, with 5 games left in the season but their season is done.
It's over!!!! ☹️
Even if they could make the playoffs, they won't go far, so treat the rest of the season like the preseason.
Rest the regulars to protect them from (further or any) injuries. Play the 2nd & 3rd string players to give them experience.
And, in the meantime, prepare for a MAJOR rebuild of the entire #Defense -- the #DLine as well as the #backfield-- which truly SUCKS and also a retool of the #OLine which needs to improve in its protection of #Purdy & making holes for #McC & the other backs.
This involves a no holds bared analysis of what,'s wrong on both sides of the ball, & finding the right players to fill the holes via the draft & thru trades & the sooner the Niners' get on this the better.

Only watched part of yesterday's game vs the #Saints that the #Niners won 10-16. No starters except #Purdy played.
Purdy looked totally out of synch with his rookie receivers & the O-line failed to protect him. So, lots of work to do there.
Would like to have seen a couple of plays w/all the 1st string on the line. Hopefully, we'll see that next wk vs the #Raiders which is the last preseason game.
Dobbs looked like the best of the backups. He reminds me of #Lance which is not a good thing IMO. As for new recievers, Breida & Schrader got the most touches but weren't all that productive in terms of yardage.
I wasn't impressed with any of them. So, I hope the regulars, including Aiyuk in the backfield & Williams on the OL are going to play.

I don't have a clear favorite in this #SuperBowl. It could be cool if #Purdy wins the trophy - he really deserves it this season. However, if #Chiefs win, MAGA will go mad.

If Jackson is in the convo, so should be Purdy but, humble as he is, he says that he thinks McC should get it. I wouldn't be bothered either way.
Winning tomorrows game vs the Ravens should give him an additional edge over Jackson which he already has over Prescott & Hurts due to prior wins over the Cowboys & Eagles.
I just hope he can shut up the haters by leading the Niners to a 6th SB championship, which would probably give him a lock for the MVP whether you think he deserves it or not. 🤷♂️

I'm tired of hearing Purdy haters say that the only reason he's doing so well is because of the "system" that he's playing in and the quality of the players that he has around him.
Do they feel the same way about Joe Montana (HOF) & Steve Young (HOF) who won 5 SBs betwen them, who played in Bill Walsh's (HOF) system with players on offense like Jerry Rice, Tom Rathman, John Taylor, Freddie Solomon, Roger Craig, Dwight Clark & Brent Jones & players on defense like Bubba Harris, Ronnie Lott, Dwight Hicks, Keena Turner, Fred Dean, Charles Haley Dana McLemore, Bryant Young & Dana Stubblefield -- among many other other great players on both sides of the ball.
Fact is, what made Montana & Young great was being able to execute Walsh's system with the help of all of the other players. No help, no execution, no greatness.
Neither JimmyG nor Lance would do what Purdy's doing.
Only Purdy has been able to do it by executing Shanahan's system w/the help of the rest of the team.

Stephen A. was wrong about Purdy again & his argument and lack of respect for Purdy is getting old.
He picked the Eagles to win because he thought Hurts would "rise to the occasion" and because he tought that Purdy lacks the ability to "come from behind."
Well, Hurts did NOT rise to the occasion and Purdy did come from behind with 6 connecutive TDs after falling behind 0-6 in the 1st Q.
I'm thinking reverse racism but I guess I shouldn't go there.
However, there's no doubt, at least based on their passing records for the seaason to date, that Purdy is "better" than Hurts:
