Na spacerach treningowych ze szczeniakiem (bonus: tzw. trudnej rasy) najgorsi są ludzie, change my mind 🫩🔫

Liczba dorosłych ludzi, którzy piszczą z zachwytu, cmokają, kucają, wołają mojego psa do siebie (!), biorą ją w ramiona (wtf??) jest porażająca. Ludzie kochane, dajcie się temu borsukowi skoncentrować.

#puppytraining #dogtraining So glad there are training hashtags, even if they’re not too active. Our dog Cody just finished a year of training and is much less reactive. Our trainer suggested trick training to keep him learning. I just ordered Dog Tricks by Carina MacDonald after borrowing it from the library. It blends training advice with touches of dog psychology and includes troubleshooting. Can’t wait for it to come in! (Obligatory Cody picture.)

Training a puppy during fireworks season turns out to be ideal! I can take Rosey Bean out any evening to hear some and she is completely unfazed! Though admittedly nobody has set any off super close by - we'll go out this week to get closer. #puppytraining

If you own a #dog and need to clean their urine and poop stains, you need to get the SCENT out. #Dogs learn where to pee based on smell. If they still smell urine, they think they're *supposed* to pee there.

Regular soap won't get the scent out. Be sure to use special urine-scent-removers when cleaning up dog pee. And be sure to soak & dry repeatedly, to get down to the carpet padding.
