DI.day - Fediverse Workshop für Punks

Trxxxter, Sunday, 1.11.2026 at 15:00 Uhr
(Trxxxter is near Schlesi, ask a punk for direction)

@CHEFDENKER Ein cineastisches Meisterwerk!

The most important slide of the Punx.social presentation from the Berlin Fedi Day:

The Thank you slide!

So, thanks to:
-The Pixelfed Team, the Mastodon Team and the Peertube team.
- All the bands, labels, mailorder and fanzines that support us
- momou.ch for the Punkatodon translation API
- The BerlinFediDay team – thanks to whom we were able to enjoy such a lovely weekend

And what I missed in the talk: of course everyone who joined our instances and gave the feeling that we are doing the right thing.

Hey Bands, Labels, Fanzines, & Veranstalter*innen ...

- DIY - build your own "Algorithmus/Timeline"
- Wie bekomme ich Reichweite
- welche Apps?
- Account verifizieren
- Bridge zu Bsky
- Linksammlung
- How Tos...
- FAQ

Was hättet ihr noch gerne?

Hey, we're currently updating the punx.social page.

Think back to when you were new to the Fediverse:
What are the most important questions for you?

The page is meant to be the go-to resource for all information about the Fediverse, especially in a punk context

We have the following ideas:
- What is the Fediverse?
- Why another (anti)social media platform?
- DIY – build your own “algorithm/timeline”
- How do I get reach?
- Which apps?
- Account verification
- Bridges to Bsky
- Link collection
- How Tos...
- FAQ

What else would you like to see?

https://www.musicpoolberlin.net/event/fediverse-workshop-im-rahmen-des-di-day-digital-independence-day/

Englisch:

P̶L̶E̶A̶S̶E̶ USE ALT TEXT!

It's been a week since our Fedi-Punk workshop on di.day.
Since then, more users have joined both “our” instances and others.
Once again, welcome!

When you post images, p̶l̶e̶a̶s̶e̶ pay attention to alt text.

The Fediverse in particular strives to be inclusive. There are many users in the Fediverse who rely on screen readers.

If you post images without alt text, screen readers have no way of telling users what the image is.
This is the opposite of accessibility.

So be part of the positive change and use alt text!

Thank you!

Your punx.social team.

P.S.: Here's a link to read more: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alt_attribute

#punk #punkstodon #punktube #punkdotPHOTOS #alttext #screenreader

B̶I̶T̶T̶E̶ NUTZT ALTTEXT!

Danke!

Euer punx.social Team.

P.S.: hier noch einmal zum Nachlesen: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alt-Text
