Yes I believe him, dressed up like a member of The Specials (maybe sax 🎷 player?), and those punk rock skateboarder Vans that he's sporting with the suit.
Even the Sex Pistols were bankrolled merely to showcase their manager Malcolm McLaren's clothing boutique at 430 King's Road in London.
One of my exes was a pre Goth death metal chick with relatively short pink hair and that pasty white corpse like makeup in a different, classy lingerie ensemble everyday of the week ( It helped that she worked at Frederick's on Hollywood Blvd).
If what John Waters is quoted as saying has any weight (and I believe he's spot on) it's that the antisocial movement of the previous decade will be largely found to be insignificant and forgotten because they had no particular and unique fashion sense of their own to remember them by.👋💀

I saw #lesclaypool / #primus with #seanlennon last night and even if you don't know who they are... you should go. It was pretty fucking epic. So so trippy and weird. Been listening to primus since the 90s and this was the first time i have ever had the chance to see/hear them live. I was tempted to start a mosh pit among us Gen Xrs and their children. Our generation didn't have much... often neglected frankly... but we had the best music.
