I wish the #Democratic #Pundits stopped focusing on assigning blame for past mistakes, and maybe started to focus on what the Democrats need to do to notch significant wins in 2026.

Maybe the #DNC's treatment of #davidhogg is not the right approach - maybe the Democrats need to listen to the non-MAGA population that voted for Trump, those that voted voted for a 3rd party ( e.g Greens, Cornell West) and especially those that did not vote in the presidential race.

And maybe the Democrats need to start thinking outside of the #neoliberal box they let themselves be trapped in if they want to solve problems.

Allow me to humbly disagree. Rather importantly, he's not a Democrat.

Bernie has been at this since before most of us were born. A shift to the politics of Bernie Sanders? Not credible.

Elizabeth Warren has not shifted one iota.

Neither has any democrat with actual clout with the DNC. Those are the center-right wealthy Democrats who would be Republicans, but they can't get elected as a Republican, because Republicans are the party of projection, and are all apparently too busy eating the dogs and cats of Haitian immigrants to cast a vote for milquetoasts who won't.

Too much, amirite? Can't stop now.

Democrats attacked him in 2016. Some of the party's pundits I may never forgive (Joy Reed) kept at it long after he conceded and was busy campaigning for Hillary. Rally 'round the Bernie? Not credible.

Democrats have not shifted. That's not what we just witnessed. The party's mouthpieces forced Biden, the guy who beat Trump, out of the race with just 100 days left in the campaign, scant time left to mount an effective Harris campaign, one with no convention bounce.

Some Biden Democrats were angered by this. Might have helped depress turnout.

Heck, they won't even follow AOC's lead.

Democratic U.S. House members are accusing Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) of inciting #violence at the U.S.-Mexico border by using #bigoted language about a border "invasion" and encouraging a rightwing convoy to come to the region.

Around 200 vehicles carrying Trump supporters, Christian nationalists and #conspiracy theorists have descended on Quemado, Texas for a "Take Our Border Back" rally amid a standoff between Abbott and President Biden over immigration enforcement.

The Democratic congressional members, all from Texas, said Abbott is being irresponsible and is creating an environment for #violence instead of looking for solutions to fixing a broken immigration system.

Since Monday, the #convoy has made its way to the border to stand against migrants attempting to cross into the U.S. illegally or seeking asylum.
