I recently found out about punch needle rugs. I ordered a kit to make coasters. I am not great at it yet, but I seem to be improving. Left is my first try kitty. Right is second. I have a few left. I hope they are recognizable by the end. #PunchNeedle #fiberarts

I received my #PunchNeedle #Embroidery kit and started on my new project! It’s a very cute frog and I’m surprised at how easy this is compared to some of these types of #FiberArts I learned as a kid like cross stitch! I’m really enjoying it. 🎉 Just have to remember to keep my back and neck straight because it’s easy to slouch while doing this 🤔

Happy to say this punch needled dinoscape is finished even though my talk was rejected at PyCon

Some of the wool is from Romanian sheep and some from Australian ones and hand died .. safe to say it’s unique and it took years to make
