Tasted a lot of fermented Vietnamese #tea today. The tea master claimed that they are all soothing and calming even though some were only fermented for about a year.
I am very caffeine sensitive, so was suspicious, also since a lot of #puerh I have tried has a strong effect on me.
I am surprised now that I drank seven (!) kinds of tea (2-4 cups each) and barely feel any effect from caffeine.Comments/discussion very welcome, as I am really not an expert in the field of fermented tea 🙏

I tried tangerine pu-erh for the first time this morning. I wanted to try it since I found out about it last year and I randomly found it in a shop a few days ago. Very tasty. My partner crushed the tangerine a bit too forcefully, so we definitely need more practice, haha.
When we opened the bag, the citrusy smell hit us immediately. Really nice.
The tea is also called Xiao Qing Gan, which means small green tangerine.

Learnt about Xiao Qing Gan or tangerine pu-erh today. I don't think I could get green tangerines in #Edinburgh, but I kinda want to try it at home (I guess I'd have to use different citrus fruit). I'll try the tea shop near me to see if they sell xiao qing gan I could buy.
