I broke up the end of this cake today. The bing-hole bits ended up in my mug. Bing-hole steeps aren't optimal for grandpa style, but I made do.

So this is what it feels like to realize that a pu'er you got when it was 10 years old is now 18 years old because you completely forgot that it existed!
I'd finally run out of a very young compressed tea (jammed into a bamboo tube) and went to my basket for a white tea cake only to realize I had *another* cake of a large-leaf Yunnan tea buried at the bottom of the stack that had been sitting there for 8 years quietly aging.
