Hvad er der dog sket med open source i det åbne i Danmark? Stort set alle danske hjemmesider, jeg kikker på, har seneste opdatering omkring 2015? Hvad er der blevet af "Foreningen af Open Source Leverandører i Danmark"? Er IT-Politisk forening blevet nedprioriteret så meget at der ingen virksomheder i Danmark der profilerer sig på en solid open source filosofi? Hvor der de stærke kræfter, der spiller os andre gode? Som gerne igen og igen taler politikere imod, når et eller andet stort projekt "nødvendigvis må laves på proprietær teknologi"? Set i lyset af den seneste tids politiske udvikling, er det på tide at danske virksomheder (gen-)indser værdien af andelstanker, open source og frie, åbne standarder. Offentlige og private virksomheder kan og bør så meget mere, for at beskytte vores allesammens rettigheder og privilegier.
