Could someone please explain, for dummies like me, what is goin on or the advantages of AT Protocol? Why is interesting for e. G.  @Mastodon? Just because of bluesky? Would not be easier that @eurosky.social just creates an ActivityPub instance? Or go for #publicactivityactivitypub

From the website, I read: 1)controlled by a non profit organization and 2)🇪🇺🇪🇺🇪🇺: Is the same EU trying to push #chatcontrol involved? I could not find if it is a W3C standard and everything seems quite confusing

Today I attended a workshop about an upcoming campaign urging our public institutions to do the right thing: join the universal social network, #PublicActivityActivityPub or #PAAP for short ;-)

@victor hosted the session and we had several people from cultural institutions, universities, schools and the open data lab like @basicavisual

A positive way to introduce the fediverse and share some strategies, like #POSSE and RAP.

There's much work to do and to share, as together we always know more, so this was a start to continue conversations.

Ostres quina feinada més fantàstica que heu fet, felicitats! Esteu convidadíssimis a venir i segur que podeu donar respostes molt més situades que jo des d'Alemanya... jo quan pugi intentaré traduir-ho i portar-ho cap allà.

#fedigov em sembla una gran campanya i #publicactivityactivitypub podria funcionar com a complememt. La idea va començar més enfocada a institucions culturals o artístiques, on no tenir instagram és un problema per seguir esdeveniments i convocatòries, però es va obrir una conversa molt interessant sobre la comunicació institucional en general i ara la idea seria veure-ho des de l'altra banda.

#publicactivityactivitypub aka #PubActivityManifest farà una iteació a Barcelona (dijous 4/6, 16 al Canòdrom) centrada en la perspectiva de col·lectius i institucions. Ens ajudeu amb la difusió (també fora del fedivers, si hi sou)?

La semana pasada en Karlsruhe estuvimos dándole vueltas a la parte técnica y la idea es ir buscando aportaciones por los sitios (por ejemplo, sobre como las instituciones públicas utilizan la IA). En un par de semanas estaré en Barcelona, a ver si allí consigo montar algo...

As you can see, it is quite rudimentary HTML and the text needs some further work.

This saturday (09.05) we will think togheter with @entropia and @isAutonomous  how to set up the website, thinking in, among others: translations (Se mi ne povas parolas Esperanton, ne estas mia revolucio), assembling materials, modifiying the many-festo, etc.
