My interest in retrocomputing is making me rediscover print books and my local library.
There are two well stocked libraries within 500 meters of home, part of a city-wide network of public libraries. My card, actually just my government ID, lets me borrow from dozens of libraries of the city. The same network also offers ebook lending from an extensive catalog.
I live in Milan, Italy.

I work at a #PublicLibrary. People who want to use #AI seem to have no trouble doing so. People who don't want to use AI have a harder time. Submitted my 3d print to my public library...
A simple web form. All I need is my library card number an email address and a phone number.
Then I go pick it up...
I ran it through an online 3mf checker to check that the #freecad output worked in 3mf format when I selected two objects.
I had tried to do a union but it was taking forever. It's nice that 3mf can include multiple objects, because it's pretty dumb to waste a bunch of time with a trivial union.
