    AI excels at pattern recognition and can mimic tone, but it lacks genuine empathy. A seasoned storyteller understands the subtle emotional triggers that move audiences: from hope and pride to urgency and belonging. By weaving those feelings into a narrative, they create a visceral bond that a machine‑generated paragraph rarely achieves.

    Effective PR isn’t merely about delivering facts; it’s about framing those facts within a broader strategic context such as political climates, cultural moments, stakeholder expectations, and crisis dynamics. Human writers can synthesize real‑time insights, geopolitical nuances, and brand heritage into a cohesive story that aligns with business objectives. AI, constrained by its training data, often misses these shifting variables.

    The heart of communication still beats in human hands. Brands that recognize storytelling as a strategic asset, and invest in talented storytellers, will continue to shape perceptions, inspire action, and build lasting relationships.

  11. Politik als Arbeitsprozess. Teil 1: Mein Platz in der Wertkette

    Ich überlege mir seit geraumer Zeit, wie es gelingen kann, eine im Prinzip beliebig große Anzahl von Personen in einen für alle dauerhaft produktiven und interessanten Prozess politischer Arbeit zu bringen. Drei Modelle bieten dabei meines Erachtens Orientierung, Politik als Arbeitsprozess zu verstehen, darin eigene Rollen und Aufgaben zu erkennen und eine mögliche Arbeitsweise zu beschreiben. Erstens lohnt es sich, nach der Wertkette der politischen Arbeit Ausschau zu halten, um die Arbeitsweise der handelnden oder betroffenen Akteure zu analysieren. Mit der Frage nach der Wertkette wird sehr gut verständlich, was in einer Partei, in einem Verband, einem Medienunternehmen, in einer Redaktion oder auch in einer Lobbyagentur geschieht. Diese Betrachtungsweise hilft zu verstehen, einen Ansatz für die eigene Arbeit und den Wert dieser Arbeit zu erkennen. Auch ist das entscheidend, um das Bedürfnis nach einem organisatorischen Rahmen der eigenen politischen Arbeit zu verstehen und sich einen solchen Rahmen entsprechend zu suchen oder zu schaffen. Zweitens hilft die Kenntnis des Konzepts der Politikfeldanalyse und des von ihr vorgeschlagenen Politikzyklus-Modells, Politik als eine sinnvoll und geordnet in Arenen ablaufende, themenbezogene Sache zu verstehen. Politikfeldanalyse macht politische Arbeit als Informationsbeschaffungs- und -verarbeitungsprozess überhaupt erst strukturierbar. Aufbauend auf dem Konzept der Politikfeldanalyse bieten drittens die Methoden und Techniken politischer Arbeit des Public Affairs Ansatzes konkrete Anleitung für politische Arbeit. Im Grunde geht es jetzt darum, den Nachrichtenstrom in Themen und Arenen zu untergliedern. Natürlich kümmert mich jedes Thema, aber ich suche eine Struktur, jedem Thema einen eigenen Raum und Zeitpunkt zu geben, um meine Aufmerksamkeit und meine Produktionskapazität zielgerichtet einsetzen zu können.
