Sir #Pterry is one of the few authors who have written sequel after sequel after sequel, and the books get better and better and better.

I firmly believe that all 14 year olds should surreptitiously be given Pratchett by someone that isn't a parent.
Especially if they live in a household where they have to hide it because it contains witches.
They are books that teach you how to think, even in the face of extreme authority.
This is my story. I would be a much worse person without having Pratchett books in my life.

In Sir Terry Pratchett's discworld, the Ankh Morpork college of the Guild of Assassins was agreed to provide an excellent general (and specific) education.

Lady Sybil Ramkin accounts for probably 50% of all wig sales in Ankh Morpork.
We know she keeps her hair short due to the swamp dragons habit of being adorable little incendiary bombs.
Not only has she got a selection of wigs for special occasions, but I imagine quite a few get damaged when she gets called to the pens because one of them has an upset stomach, so she runs down in full refinery, forgetting the kindling she's wearing. -

So my latest ploy is reading, whilst sat in the hot tub. I’ve booked the day off, and can relax, with a waterproof eBook. Re-reading the #longearth series (by #pterry and Baxter). Only snag is that you can spend too long in a hot tub and end up with chlorine irritating your skin.
