  1. Now that @psynom22 #psynom22 is over, I'm wondering when the recorded talks will be available. I had such a good time catching up with people, I ended up missing several talks!

  2. Topped off a great #psynom22 conference with a visit to another very important research institute 👌

In all seriousness. Aside from my food and beer pics, some great science shared this week. Well done to the organisers and everyone involved 👏 It's been a pleasure.

  3. If you are at #psynom22 find me at my poster #5124 tonight at 6pm in the conference hall and discuss with me about #repetitionLearning, #workingmemory and long-term memory!

You can also read the preprint here: psyarxiv.com/6xtwh/

  4. If you're around at Psychonomics, feel free check out my poster (#4144) at 11am/12pm about human visual clustering. The future of this project involves determining clustering strategies and a computational model of human clustering. I'd love any feedback about the current poster and the future directions!

  5. My turn at #psynom22 #psynom2022 this afternoon in session on cultural effects on cognition 1:30 onward in Back Bay C. Why are liars considered honest? I’ll provide a possible computational answer led by the amazing @[email protected] (who’s on this morning in BB D). @[email protected] @[email protected]

  6. Yesterday @jwilbiks did a fantastic job presenting preliminary data from our slow science side project evaluating participant engagement in Cognitive tasks #psynom22

    ✅ actual LOLs
✅ a whole list of useful feedback in the questions (thank you psychonomians!)

  7. Does the way speakers look influence how listeners rate their accent?

Find out tomorrow morning at our #psynom22 talk

Cognitive Ease: How Native Speakers Drive Interactions in Foreign Accents Research

    Saturday, November 19, 2022
    9:20 AM - 9:40 AM
Room: Independence Ballroom, Sheraton 2nd Floor

  8. Me showing off research where much of the work is thanks to my talented colleagues. #psynom22

  9. At #psynom22 in person or virtually?

Come to my talk "Category learning with point-based feedback" tomorrow (Saturday) at 11AM to learn about how #reward influences #learning!

The talk will be in the Concepts and Categorization session in Back Bay D as well as live streamed.

    @psynom22

  10. One of my takeaways from Psychonomics so far..
(with deep respect to the great work being people are doing with it)

    #psychonomics
    #psynom22

  11. The problem with grouping posters based on topics is... There are so many posters I wish to see at the same time as our poster 🙃🙃🙃

If I'm not at my poster tomorrow catch me at a neighbor's 😅😅#psynom22

  12. Tomorrow I'll be presenting a poster at #psynom22 - come say hi!

I'll be talking about factors predicting 12 year change in self reported vision, hearing, taste and smell in >5000 adults in The Irish Longitudinal Study on Ageing

    Poster 2152 in Cognitive Ageing 12:00 - 13:00

If you're not at psychonomics you can read the recently published paper here!!

  13. There's always a first: taking a ferry to a conference. Psychonomics, here we come (also, this is what happens if you foolishly try to take a panorama on a boat and a big wave hits) #psynom22 🌤️🌊 ⛴️

  14. If you're at #psynom22 and interested in belief elicitation methods, random generation, or people's distributional knowledge, visit me at poster 1146 in today's poster session!
I'll present recent work on using random generation tasks to elicit people's beliefs and linking these beliefs to people's inferences!

  15. If you're at #psynom22, I'll be giving a talk at the Discourse Processes session on Friday morning (#13) about how perspective cues are used in #PronounResolution. To entice you further, here's SpaCy's latest #CoreferenceModel trying to resolve a perspectivally challenging sentence!

  16. Heading to Psychonomics and SCiP #psynom22 #psynomnomnom. Feels like a nice day for a train ride.

  17. A few posters from the lab this year, and one I sponsored but had nothing to do with. Guess which.

    #psynom22 @psynom22

  18. CW: My talk slides on visual working memory for OPAM/Psychonomics

Cannot wait for the OPAM satellite at #psynom22 – a dedicated venue for early-career researchers to give talks on their work about object perception, attention and visual memory! You can take an early peek at my talk on object-based encoding in visual working memory here: osf.io/6bgr7

  19. Anyone attending #psynom22, I recommend accessing the conference app via your web browser: eventscribe.net/2022/PSCONF/. Works much better than it did through the phone app on my Android! The link was a little hidden on the Psychonomics website, so hoping this helps! 😅

  20. Congratulations to Rhi
(@sailor_amygdala on the bird site) on a fantastic masters defense! Next up, we celebrate in Boston at #psynom22 !

  21. I'll be presenting two pieces of research in the coming week:

    (1) At #MathPsych Satellite Meeting: Self-Regulated Learning and Treatment Effect Heterogeneity: A Formal Model and Simulation (Thursday afternoon)

    (2) At #Psynom22 I'll be giving a talk in the Metacognition II symposium entitled "Hidden Agenda-Based Regulation: Extending Models of
Study-Time Allocation to More Educationally Realistic
    Stimuli" (Sunday morning)

Excited to meet new colleagues and see old friends @psynom22
