I first met Grouch about 20 years ago in Te Whanganui-a-Tara, at a flow night, or maybe full moon drumming. Loved his first album The Moof is Rooving, released in 2006, and I've been enjoying his music ever since.

I ended that review claiming this double-LP was worth the investment in getting. Now that the CD's long out of print and on the collector's market, I wonder...?
*checks Discogs* Hah, wow, it's now the 14th most expensive, non box-set item in my collection. Maybe most should stick with digital.

A 2020 collection of remixes from Pitch Black's Third Light album, released in 2019;

Along with Avotor, Pitch Black were one of the first fully instrumental groups I got into. Seeing shows by both bands opened up my understanding of what live music could be. Sadly Avotor were fairly shortlived, only saw them once, but I've seen PB many times, and both members as solo artists too.

I did eventually get around to nabbing a few more Ott records, though still not 'Mir'. I'll also maintain if you want to bring folks into the psy-dub fold, this album is a strong starting point, the musicianship on here solid and catchy without getting too weird as so much psy does.
