The Freiburg Vision Test FrACT₁₀ https://michaelbach.de/fract/ has learned something new: Assessment of grating contrast thresholds. You select spatial frequency and patch diameter (in Settings>Contrast), and it will hone in on the threshold. An approximate Gaussian window smoothes the grating edge. Error diffusion allows for accurate threshold in spite of 8 bit limits. Downloadable as WebApp. For giggles try 'Autorun to target contrast'.

I'm Aurelio, I am a research fellow in #ExperimentalPsychology and #CognitiveNeuroscience @YorkPsychology.

My research is mainly focused on: #VisionScience, #VisualPerception, #VisualCognition, #TimePerception, #Metacognition and #IndividualDifferences.
