I just returned from a transformational week with the #UCSF #GBHI cohort at the #MAC. Here is a photo of the group after the Salon on Fairness, a wonderful presentation about how we might think about justice in relation to brain health. It was inspiring being among #neurologists, #psychiatrists, and #writers all committed to bringing about a world where brain health is a human right.

remember that #ACAB includes #therapists and #psychiatrists. even if your #provider is #leftist, even if they say you can trust them, they still by #law have to #incarcerate you if you are “too” suicidal. they work for a #system that risks them losing their #jobs if they choose their patient’s #humanity over forced #hospitalization.

#drug addicts deserve to live. they deserve compassion and aid, not scorn and hatred. #psychiatrists would rather give us pills with unneeded and/or damaging extras which hurt millions or straight up refuse treatment just to 'avoid #abuse potential' because omg what if an icky addict gets them! like who gives a shit. their lives are worth way more than yours anyway.
