Ah, beautiful, more #pseudointellectualism. This time the Verge reporting on Insurance Institute for Highway Safety's research into pedestrian injuries when hit by vehicles.

If you go read the ACTUAL report, then you will see that whilst bonnet height does make a difference, nearly 45% in some cases, it is speed (+30mph), darkness, age of the person injured and if the vehicle is driving straight.
