A facsimile of James Grieve's 1982 translation of Swann's Way. When the pdf is loaded it shows 180pp. but panic not, it's actually pp. 346. The facsimile has been scanned 2 pages at a time évidemment....).

Heading towards an original Moncrieff vs. James Grieve vs. Lydia Davis using the most entertaining sections of the Verdurins to see what's what. Cheating, its searches of e-versions with Davis book open...

Lydia Davis did Swann's Way or as it is rendered in this translation, The Way By Swann's, which seems a bit clunky. But that's the fun of translation.
