Fifty years ago, the first Greenpeace anti-whaling campaign was launched during the summer of 1975 in the North Pacific Ocean aboard the Phyllis Cormack and confronted a Russian whaling fleet.

Now, 50 years on, much has been gained, but we're still working hard to protect the oceans.
