Mit dem Label „Action-Thriller“ wird so mancher Film vermarktet, der eigentlich in seiner Natur eher etwas ganz anderes ist. In diesem Geiseldrama ist es nicht die „Action“, derer wegen sich das Anschauen lohnt, sondern die psychologische Dimension der Handlung. Hier kämpft Armut gegen Globalisierung und Tom Hanks gibt einmal mehr keinen Helden, sondern einen Überlebenden. (ZDF, Wh)

On Monday, the 🇩🇪 frigate Hessen that's taking part in the anti-#Houthi mission #ProsperityGuardian almost shot down a US Reaper drone whose friend-or-foe identification system was disabled.
When asked by the Hessen, the Americans didn't know of the #Reaper's presence as it was employed in a different mission, so the Hessen's commandant ordered to shoot down the drone when it approached the ship. Only a malfunction of both SAMs fired prevented disaster.
