I'm going to extend this and say avoid all #religious "#charities". You can find a #secular equivalent that isn't going to #waste half your #donation #proselytizing and the other half #discriminating.

@jewterpretor these are both so context-dependant that it would be hard to say. Secular for what purposes? Depends on the #religion and the purpose, IMO.

Is a #Christian who doesn't go to church but still believes in #Jesus Secular when it comes to #proselytizing? No. Is a #Buddhist who prays daily Secular when it comes to interactions? Depends how they identify. Is a #Jew who goes to synagogue even just weekly but doesn't believe Secular when it comes to #HateCrimes? Definitely not.
