We actually like the UK model of National and local government.In Australia we have three-tiers and the StateGovt between the two other tiers is able to seize all development powers so council just do bin collection and a few other useless things.
As a result StateGovt is the most corrupt. Last we checked they, take heavy "donations" from the #constructionIndustry lobby and #propertyInvestors.
The #stateGovt should be abolished and replaced with more federal representatives.
