Most / many US shares dropped that much over the last week.
That said, I'd be glad to see AirBnB scaled back to its roots - sharing out a spare room in your home for the night. Today AirBnB is a catalyst for property speculators worldwide to suck up homes of the typical size needed by single people or couples looking for their first home. They can't compete with property speculators.

We argue that the way #BigTech and the #legacyMedia have aligned themselves with govt does make them uniquely fascist.
Even #DavidGraeber in his work, #BatshitConstruction, also identified how #BigConstruction and especially big #propertyDevelopers tend to be fascist based on their need for govt approval of large projects.

In terms of allocating #resources value, govt have served #propertyDevelopers interests and drained resources from local and #regenerativeAg, which helps solve other problems.
We're happy you mention "where people want to live/work". The #corporateState directs a narrative and value system here, its upsidedown and serves an '#extractive' class.

See (his words) #BatshitConstruction.
Most at the top in the #constructionIndustry are by definition, #fascist and #cronyist, and the cronyism trickles down to the workers themselves but they (mostly) don't see the fascism — the melding of govt and big #privateEquity.
They think they're #building communities because that is the #rhetoric of their #CEO and #corporateState masters.

While that is a good abstracted "effect of fascism" the story is simple.> Facism is the melding of govt with #bigBusiness.
In the case of #theWest, the most fascism over the generations has stemmed from #banking and finance, but we see big #propertyDevelopers, BigPharma, #CAGEFAM and a MilitaryIndustrialComplex, as unwieldy and extremely dangerous bedfellows with govt.
Natural monopolies should only be govt managed.

The #speculativeMania that followed drained the #realEconomy, our economy became a #holesAndHouses one.

Should all homes be required to display the name of the builder on an engraved brick plaque, the actual names of the persons who built it not (just) the #company name or #brand, the actual people.

They might band together and start a monthly circular, with a focus on new ideas and concepts.
In some ways #COVID19 started a process like this. It will be interesting to see how and where it might go, if given the opportunity.
