I'm not sure a photo can do this beauty justice. I pulled this out of some existing framing. Now, yes, it might have twisted more over the years as it dried, but something tells me it wasn't exactly arrow-straight when someone made the call to use it in the first place. That's at least a 45 deg twist.

I've just dropped two #propellers done with #SubD in #Blender and converted into #IGES and then to other #CAD formats.
The models in low poly can be used with SubD modifier and they are also UV-mapped too. Useful for your #boats model in every place from #b3d to CADs. #Blender3D #boat #design

Making simple #propellers for #boats has become easy, with #Plasticity3D I can make this type of basic model in about 5~10 minutes, they are not made with precision but they are fine for #3D models. #ship #CAD

I am so happy with the result and I also have to share the rear of the stern with the #propellers mounted, before I used models already made or I made them schematic or with #SubD. This is the best I've modeled in #CAD, from now on things are simple. I get it how model a blade with airfoil, next step make one from a real 2D drawing.
I've seen some tutorials on YouTube and those are really bad. #ship #boat #design -
If someone need a simple #propellers and #planes generators there is a nice parametric #opensource application that export geometries into #IGES or #STEP.

The last time I saw any Real advancement in quieter aircraft was the QSRA from NASA AMES back in the `80s. This leapfrogs that like crazy.
