'An important milestone in the history of classical music in Ireland': Irish Baroque Orchestra to Make Debut at BBC Proms.
The orchestra will perform the 1742 Dublin version of Handel's ‘Alexander’s Feast’ on 30 August
Handel scholars are finding it very exciting.IBO are only the second orchestra from Ireland to perform at the Proms.
Irish conductor Karen Ní Bhroin will also make her Proms debut on 26 July.
