@nealr well, the north is coming to #PuertoRico alright. They’re buying all the property to the point us Puerto Ricans cannot afford buying or even renting anywhere on the island so we end up leaving. Very much like #Hawaii indeed.
Unless the US government closes the tax loopholes rich americans are using to avoid federal taxes and gets rid of the odious debt and the #PROMESA law, this cycle of misery will continue. But they won’t, which is why many of us want independence.
