@bitsofbas @kelbot agreed, #ProjectMelancholia is the more 'professional' translation out there. :)
It can be played online through #WebMSX via https://file-hunter.com/MSX/index.php?id=sdsnatcherThe English translation of the original #Snatcher graphic adventure can be played here: https://file-hunter.com/MSX/index.php?id=snatcher
(This uses a HDD image, which can be found if you know where to look in the HTML source; not sure if fMSX supports hard disk images though.) -
@greyor one #MSX #RPG in particular comes to mind (though IIRC there is also a #Sega port), and that is #Konami's #SDSnatcher: https://www.file-hunter.com/MSX/index.php?id=sdsnatcher
The original is in #Japanese, but this site provides an online playable version via #WebMSX with the fairly recent #English (re-)translation by #ProjectMelancholia
The translation patch was recently released for free: https://www.project-melancholia.org/ -
That's some #MSX #retroGaming news that flew under the radar for me: https://www.msx.org/news/en/project-melancholia-sd-snatcher-english-patch-now-available-for-free-download
The high quality #English #fanTranslation #patch of #Konami's #SDSnatcher #RPG for the #MSX2, dubbed #ProjectMelancholia, is now available for #free as in #gratis from https://www.project-melancholia.org/downloads.html
The game, which was one of Konami's last #games for the MSX #homecomputer platform, was officially only released in #Japanese (though official translations do exist for other platforms), in #1988.
