Obwohl #Hospitationen Schwächen haben (u.a.

  2. Am feeling happy today. A #writer / #editor / #teacher who is doing #research about the #professionalization of editors interviewed me. And then one of my #granddaughters hung out in my office with me, dancing and singing to music. #SelfEmployment is fun! ☺️

  3. We Here's (@wehere) new course will study a snapshot of the histories of academic librarians, focusing on the 1950s–1970s towards asking what is the professionalization of librarianship, and why did it happen? For who did it happen? How does it affect today's profession?

  4. new in Social Science History: Scott Viallet-Thévenin and Cédric Chambru review the career patterns of 637 top civil servants, the governors of French overseas colonies 1830-1960. Building on the concept of 'linked ecologies', the authors identify a long-run trajectory of professionalization in colonial administration and detect greater autonomy from the metropole in the interwar period. doi.org/10.1017/ssh.2022.20
